Sea angling - Option 2:
Iceland's rich fishing grounds are usually only a few minutes cruise from the harbours. The crystal clear air and the excitement of catching a fish in the happy company of first-timers and experienced fishermen make this a “must-do” trip. The most commonly caught fish on our tours are cod, haddock, Pollock and catfish. The boats are specially equipped for sea-angling. Rods and tackle are supplied, and the fish you catch is yours. Sea angling is a fantastic experience. Operation: English: June 1 – August 20 - daily at 08:00
Whale watching - Option 3:
Whale watching from Ólafsvík on the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Come and see whales in a breathtaking area of Iceland and catch a possible view to the famous glacier, Snæfellsjökyull. Only few places in the world are better suited for whale watching as the coastal waters off the Snæfellsnes peninsula. On these tours we set our course for the open sea and keep a sharp lookout for whales. Many species of whales appear off the Icelandic coast in early summer in search of food and remain here until the end of summer. They then return south to their breeding grounds. You will also see numerous sea birds, which likewise feed in these rich waters. Operation: English: June 1 – August 20 - daily at 08:00
