Snowmobiling adventure – Option 1

Departing from Reykjavík by coach for a genuine winter adventure! See and experience glaciers at close proximity. During the tour you can ride a snowmobile for approximately one hour on the beautiful coastline of the South of Iceland, surrounded by spectacular scenery. All necessary equipment will be provided and is included. It is essential to present a valid driving license in order to drive a snowmobile. This tour is not recommended for children.

Take a walk on the Ice side – Option 2

Easy Walking on the Sólheimajökull Glacier. From Mýrdalsjökull ice cap the Sólheimajökull glacier tounge extends down to the lowlands, an impressive ice field of solid blue ice with crusty whithish surface. With crampons on our feet we take an easy walk up on the ice field where a wonderland of ice sculptures, ridges and deep crevasses awaits discovery. We will teach you how to use basic glacier equipment and those who want to try some ice climbing can test their skills. Locations visited The South coast of Iceland, Sólheimajökull or Mýrdalsjökull glacier (when weather conditions are favourable). Duration: 8-10 hours

$AUD 359,- Includes for option 1: Bus fare and guidance. 1 hour snowmobile ride (2 people pr. vehicle; single person pr. vehicle at extra cost).

Includes for option 2: Bus fare and guidance. 2.5-3 hours glacier walk, glacier gear and safety equipment. Lunch and refreshments not included.

Pick-up at hotels and guesthouses 30 minutes before departure.
